A Message From Mark Lurch
Dear Friends,
My name is Mark Lurch and I have partnered with the organization called “HelpingChildrenWorldwide.org” (HCW), based out of Chantilly VA. I have agreed to join a team of people, with diverse skills (teachers, engineers, medical people, project managers), on a journey to Bo, Sierra Leone, West Africa in October 2023. Sierra Leone is one of the poorest countries in the world. We will support the local staffs of the Children’s Reintegration Center and Mercy Hospital, to forward their projects and mission.
The HCW works to build trusting relationships with mission sustaining partners, and collaborates with international program partners to transform communities and tackle the greatest barriers to their sustainable futures: poverty, disease, illiteracy, and despair. The compound provides vulnerable children and their families with opportunities for education, health care, and spiritual mentoring.
A worthy endeavor for sure, that requires funding to support it.
I am asking you to support our October mission trip to Sierra Leone thru a thoughtful donation of $35 to $1000 to help cover the minimum $3500 in expenses. All donations are tax deductible. The last time I worked a mission trip it was to Siem Reap, Cambodia to build a technical education center for the locals, which was an extremely rewarding experience. We can make a difference here too.
Please click the link below, click donations, click on my face/name, and an amount that is comfortable for you. You will receive reports of our activities and my undying gratitude.
