All donations that are designated for a specific purpose, when received and accepted by HCW, are utilized for the designated purpose. HCW raises money to be applied to both programs and operations, including general administration, management and fundraising costs, just as the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church does. Both GBGM and HCW raise money specifically designated for programs and raise money that is permitted to be utilized for organization operations. You can be assured that when donations come through HCW to be applied to specific programs, administrative and fundraising costs are excluded from those donations, and 100% of the designated funds go directly to the supported program.
