  • Mercy Hospital will be providing a professional training and screening event for sickle cell disease. This project will support:

Sickle Cell Screening: Enabling early identification of affected children, allowing for timely intervention.

Healthcare Worker Training: Equipping doctors and nurses with the knowledge and skills to provide specialized care.

Why is this important? Sickle cell disease, if undetected, leads to severe complications. Screening and early detection can significantly improve outcomes, while training ensures that healthcare providers can deliver the best possible care, reducing suffering and saving lives.

Join us in bringing hope and health to these children!
