  • We are halfway through 2024! This is an exciting milestone, and on behalf of the board of directors and the executive leadership team at HCW, we want to express our sincere gratitude for being an amazing partner and champion for vulnerable children and families in Sierra Leone.

    Thanks to your support, here are a few highlights of what your support has accomplished in the last six months:

    • 5,510 most vulnerable patients received free medical care.
    • 1,611 Children in 430 families Served. 
    • 962 malnourished children and babies received nutrition supplements. 
    • 1,800 children under five received life-saving medical services. 
    • 1,016 lactating mothers and 459 pregnant women cared for.
    • 2,260 children received life-saving medical care.
    • 230 impoverished Villages received medical outreach visits. 
    • 8+ training sessions for social workers and local government on Family Solutions in 8+ districts.
