We serve families and children in Wellington and the communities surrounding Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and loving family; every family should be strong and empowered to care for their children!

52% of children in Sierra Leone wind up living in the street.

We cannot eliminate the dire circumstances of severe poverty that these children are born into, but strong families are better equipped to overcome it. By focusing on the circumstances of the whole family, it is possible to provide tools to make them more resilient. Your advocacy lifts up entire families, including children and parents, and helps lead families to be able to care for themselves.

Donors should note that they will receive a tax receipt (if requested) that lists "Helping Children Worldwide" as the recipient of their donation. Donor Statements are issued at the end of the year in compliance with US Tax Code.
