1 in 6 children do not live to begin primary school in Sierra Leone, and the majority of those perish in infancy. Fighting off endemic diseases that imperil their lives requires a strong immune system, and malnourishment is the secondary cause of most infant death, and often the primary cause. Mercy Hospital Outreach Service Nutritional program was initiated by Helping Children Worldwide over 7 years ago. You can help continue its legacy of restoring children to health, and giving them a fighting chance by donating to provide supplemental feeding and nutritional education services by Mercy’s nursing and nutrition team to help mothers keep their children well.
