Every child deserves to grow up in a safe and loving family; every family should be strong and empowered to care for their children!

52% of children in Sierra Leone wind up living in the street.

CRC equips and strengthens families facing severe poverty to stem the chronic flow of children into the streets, and reunites children living without parental care with families.

We cannot eliminate the dire circumstances of severe poverty that these children are born into, but strong families are better equipped to overcome it. By focusing on the circumstances of the whole family, it is possible to provide tools to make them more resilient. Your role as a Family Empowerment Advocate will lift up a child, a parent, and a family and lead them to be able to care for themselves.
