Village Partnership

Village Partnership

About This Campaign

Village Partnership is an opportunity to help a village in Sierra Leone overcome the obstacles of extreme poverty, illiteracy and endemic disease through committed partnership. Over the last ten years Mercy Hospital has provided medical outreach to a network of villages surrounding Bo. Two years ago, the Child Reintegration Centre launched a sponsorship program to reach the villages, so that children can go to school and receive case management services. Recognizing that the best way to support a community is to strengthen the family, Helping Children Worldwide is expanding services to these villages with a three year plan to provide family empowerment programs, micro-finance training, sanitation, clean water sources, school development and improved infrastructure. Churches, families, individuals and organizations are invited to join our Village Partnership initiative with a monthly or annual commitment over three years. You can also fund an individual project such as a well or sanitation system, or the entire village development project.
Helping Children Worldwide

Campaign to Support Helping Children Worldwide

Helping Children Worldwide focuses on children and families affected by extreme poverty, with a focus on access to education and health care, child survival, and maternal care.   By partnering with local government organizations and the local church, we support education, childhood nutrition, infant and maternal survival, and family stability.
